SOLD OUT – CSEA Fishing Trip – 06/09/2023

Cast your line and catch some fun!

Join us for a day of fishing on the open waters of Long Island Sound. We’ll depart from Port Jefferson at 4 PM sharp on Friday, June 9th, 2023 and return at 10 PM. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at the CSEA Local 614 office on level of the HSC.

No experience is necessary, all equipment will be provided. We’ll provide the boat, the bait, and the know-how. All you need to do is bring your appetite and your sense of adventure.

So come on down to the docks and let’s go fishing!

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has done a lot to help keep our communities safe,
but they need help in providing funds to further their mission

Drunk driving threatens all of us.

Drunk drivers cause more than 17,000 deaths annually. This equates to 310 funerals each week or one death every 30 minutes. In June of 1989, my sister Jodi was killed by a 4 time repeat Offender drunk driver at the beautiful age of 21.

You can help with the fight against drunk driving by joining our team, and ask your friends, family and co-workers to come along! Not around that day? That’s okay – join us as a Virtual Walker, or donate to support our team!

Funds raised will stay in our community and be used to:

1. Support our heroes. Support high-visibility law enforcement to catch drunk drivers and discourage others from driving drunk.

2. Sober to start. Require ignition interlock devices, or in-car Breathalyzers, for all drunk drivers, to prove they are sober before their car will start.

3. Secure the future. Support the development of technology to determine automatically whether or not the driver is above the legal limit of .08 and failing to operate if the driver is drunk.
